Working within the medical community, our clinic provides a variety of hearing healthcare services including hearing assessments and rehabilitation, education, and counseling. Our clinic also fits and dispenses sophisticated hearing aids and related devices to suit all types of hearing loss and life styles. Assessments regarding the level of amplification that would be best suited to our patients are generally completed following a comprehensive hearing evaluation by a qualified hearing health care professional.
We also actively participate in the prevention of hearing loss through the provision and fitting of hearing protective devices, consultation on the effects of noise on hearing, and consumer education.
On July 31, 2006, the medical offices of OsteoMed II had a devastating fire directly over the office of Hearing Doctors of Ohio. The fire started late on a Friday night, and was not discovered until early Saturday morning. The entire back half of the second and third floors were totally destroyed, and the entire Plaza South One building was damaged by smoke and water. Although we lost very little because of the quick thinking of the building maintenance man, we were displaced for 15 months. We shared an office with another company in Plaza South 3, and lived out of boxes for the entire time. We were finally able to move back to our original space in mid November 2007. Our new office is bigger and MUCH more colorful. We invite you to stop by and say hello, have some of the Gevalia coffee and specialty cookies we always have on hand, and try out the “TV EARS” to watch whatever movie is playing in the waiting area.On July 31, 2006, the medical offices of OsteoMed II had a devastating fire directly over the office of Hearing Doctors of Ohio.
